Voici son message très émouvant.

Hi Folks,

I Just wanted to write and say thank you for all the wonderful cards, letters , emails and Facebook messages we received about Steven. They helped my family and I through this very difficult time a great deal.  I would like to write and thank you all personally but that would keep me busy until Christmas!

So many kind words have been said about Steven and we are really touched by this and also the many wonderful things people have written about Badlands.Steven and I have been running Badlands togetherfor 28 years and learning how much Badlands means to some of you would mean the world to Steven, as it does to me.

Obviously his loss is enormous to me – he was my brother, my best friend and my business partner. We were so close that his thoughts and opinions will continue to influence me in all I do especially in running Badlands which we both care so passionately about.

We have a wonderful team of staff here- Mike, Beverley, Rob, Katie, Steve, Rosie and Dan – all of whom have been so incredibly supportive over the last few weeks and our lasting tribute to Steven is continue running Badlands and with the same commitment passion and enthusiasm that we always have.

Steven loved a good set list and liked to be up early to be the first one sharing them – especially in the pre-internet days.  So I’m sure he would approve of me sharing the music we played at his funeral:

Steven Memorial Event

We fully intend to arrange a memorial event for Steven – something involving loud music and a well stocked bar!The event will be next year, possibly around the time of Steven’s birthday in April. We will announce it a couple of months in advance so that you have plenty of time to make plans to come along.
